About

Jordan Rush (she/her/hers) is provisionally licensed as a Counselor Trainee through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. She is currently working toward her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Palo Alto University. Jordan received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Otterbein University, with minors in Criminology and Race/Ethnic Studies. Most recently, Jordan has worked with children and families ages birth to 5 on early literacy and kindergarten readiness.

She has experience working in head start as well as in the Healthy Families America program as an advocate for children and families by providing parenting education, resources, goal setting, and general support.

Jordan is a member of the counseling honorary society, Chi Sigma Iota, and is a member of the American Counseling Association as well as the Association for Child and Adolescent Counseling. She has published research in Taylor & Francis on male caregivers in daycare settings and has worked on a research team assessing early literacy in preschool settings.
