It's never easy to admit that sometimes we need help. It can be even harder to acknowledge that sometimes we aren't sure what it is we need to feel better, to feel more stable, and to be present in our lives. It can be easy to let life happen and distract to avoid the stress of it all. But, sort of like that car ride home after work, it can be a very unnerving experience when you've arrived home at the end of the day and have no idea how you got there. The good news? You aren't alone. And, it doesn't have to be that way. Something that I hear many clients share is that therapy fails when they stop feeling like a person and start to feel like a subject to be figured out. My main interest when working with clients is to keep you feeling like a person during our work. It's your life, it should feel that way. So, let's make, "you," happen. I know that reaching out can often feel like a difficult, vulnerable step to take. Know that when you reach out to me, you will be treated with the dignity, care, and respect that you deserve. I look forward to hearing from you and to walking with you on your journey to "you".
