Hello, My name is Jonetta Bracken, LCSW, CSAC, and Clinical Therapist, with over a decade of experience. Most people call me Jo and I am happy you took the first step to get help. I have found that some people just need someone to talk to because they find it difficult to talk with the people around them for various reasons. I look forward to connecting with you. I use a strength-based approach when working with patients. I believe the patient is the expert in their lives and I am here to assist in finding healthy ways to cope and resolve concerns that are identified during the assessment. I employ active listening, supportive reflective responses, and feedback. I approach goal setting with clients by identifying areas clients would like to work on. I also identify goals for patients to work on based on the information provided during the intake. I ask the client if they are comfortable adding identified items to their treatment plan.
