Counseling can be intimidating, but I want to foster a safe, compassionate, and empathetic place where you can talk about the things you don’t know how to talk about. As a therapist, I seek to create a space for your true self to shine through as we work together to confront the challenges, insecurities, and past traumas you carry, and to ultimately find healing. At this stage as you consider therapy and seek to find the right fit, I want to encourage you by simply saying that you are enough. You do not have to be more than who you are. And who you are is worthy of love, of care, and of mental and emotional health. I have experience working with couples, individuals, and families. My clientele is primarily adults, but also includes teens and elementary-aged children. I specialize in trauma, depression and anxiety, men’s issues, infidelity, behavioral issues, communication issues, and substance abuse. I am certified in EMDR and TF-CBT, both trauma therapy techniques. My years as a therapist reinforce my belief that people can change. We can break generational trauma. We can learn to react and cope differently. We can challenge harmful internal narratives. We can break the chains of addiction and dependence. We can endure and heal.
