I am a licensed psychologist with specialized training and experience providing psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. I believe in the importance of creating a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients. My focus is to make sustainable change through longer term therapy. I utilize an integrative approach to treatment, incorporating aspects of client centered/Humanistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness techniques in order to assist clients in creating and maintaining change. I also have specific interest and training working with individuals experiencing LGBTQIA+ issues as well as college students and young adults. I received my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from William James College in Newton, Massachusetts. Additionally I completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital with an appointment at Harvard Medical School. I have worked in various settings from acute treatment and intensive outpatient programs to schools and parent groups.
