I have a strong interest in helping individuals in the midst of life transition and/or turmoil find vision, connection and greater meaning for their lives. Life transitions can range from the dark and difficult times when you are unsure what to do, to the excitement of new opportunities. As a licensed clinical psychologist with a masters degree in theology, I enjoy connecting the personal ways individuals make sense of their lives with the larger body of knowledge achieved through clinical training and the current and evolving knowledge base of the psychology and neuroscience field. I formed my private practice in Decatur after a 13-year career working in higher education as a counselor and administrator. I previously taught and supervised graduate students in counseling and clinical psychology.
