My primary specializations are the treatment of anxiety disorders, and performing evaluations and testing for a variety of issues. I enjoy working with families and individuals both and have extensive experience with group therapy. I also do coaching for professional as well as personal issues. I have locations in Lisle IL and Joliet, IL. My work with anxiety is through effective, non-medical interventions based on developing skills for dealing with emotional experiences. I utilize homework, reading and skill development to accelerate the client's progress and assist them in feeling better sooner. My treatment approach is very practical and is focused on day to day outcomes. I have experience with both adults and children in this regard. I also work with organizations (corporate as well as not-for-profit) to assist in developing more effective interactive styles for organization members. Proper training with anxiety management skills can make a major difference in your anxiety in a relatively short time. You can come out of your house and grow your life again! Years of teaching psychology has improved my effectiveness in educational approaches with clients. I am active in the local community through my volunteer work as a scout leader.
