No two families are exactly alike. I'm honored to be able to learn about people, how they grew up, and how they're living now. I firmly believe everyone has the opportunity to reimagine their world, strengthening the bonds that heal them and limiting relationships that are less helpful. I love doing the work, and I look forward to joining people's conversations about life. I began my career as a therapist performing in-home therapy with a wide variety of clients. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, work-related issues, anger management, and family of origin stressors. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Iowa. I received my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University in the Twin Cities. I like to bring creativity and personality into therapy. I bring a narrative approach to therapy and believe people have the power to use their pre-existing strengths to overcome the problems in their lives. I look forward to working with clients 12 years old or older. I enjoy working with couples and individual clients. I believe therapy should be a comfortable, engaging, and private space to express yourself. I'm excited to work with you! I welcome people of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and orientations – especially LGBTQIA+ clients.
