About

I invite clients to explore their problems by working to create a safe, accepting environment. Believing that a problem holds the key to its solution, I try to help clients hear what they are saying and pay attention to the way they see things. Symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and relationship problems often echo patterns or concerns we have carried for years. I encourage clients to say what they think and feel so they can accept where they are, see the possibility of change, and take the risk of acting different.

I see adults, adolescents, middle school children, and seniors. I work with clients in individual, couples, and family therapy and lead a psychotherapy group. I am an active clinician who supervises others and receives ongoing training. I have been in practice for 26 years.

I welcome people to talk about every aspect of their lives--their physical symptoms, emotions, dreams, choices, and values. With a background in philosophy, religion, and psychology, I am open to core values as a source of meaning and growth.
