About me As a young adult during graduate school at Boston College in 2008 I began my social work/counseling career in a men's medium security prison in Massachusetts. There, I provided individual and group therapy to particularly vulnerable incarcerated individuals, who were dealing with mental health challenges on top of their incarceration. After several years working in correctional mental health I transitioned into an outpatient counseling role in an outpatient detox center and provided support to I provided treatment to individuals managing depression, anxiety, mood instability, stress, relationship issues, low self esteem, poor confidence, parenting challenges, grief and loss, topics unique to LGBTQIA individuals and life transitions including transitioning into adulthood, Family support and friends can be immensely helpful, but at times we need a listener to help us see things clearer.
