About

I have met plenty of people who have had poor experiences with therapy in the past, so I strive to be someone who can change their minds. I do my best to be real, respectful, and supportive of the people I work with while they grow to their fullest potential. I believe that helping someone to better understand their emotions, use their voice, build confidence, and work through any obstacles that hold them back, can lead to a happier, more fulfilling life.

Although I have worked with people of all ages, my therapeutic approach tends to work best with those between 14 and 25 years old. I have found that a direct, strength and relationship based approach tends to be the most effective when working with young people who struggle with mood disorders, anxiety, depression, anger, and substance use.

I am looking to work with adolescents and young adults who may feel like life is a rollercoaster, are going through some challenging transitions, have a difficult time regulating their moods, are coping in unhealthy ways, and are willing to work hard to find some stability. If that describes you, I hope you reach out.
