Jodi Walters attained her master's degree in clinical social work from Case Western Reserve University and her bachelor's from Cleveland State University. She has over 25 years of experience. Jodi previously worked in community mental health care at Catholic Charities and Positive Education Program (PEP) providing in home and school-based therapy to children, at risk teens and families. She has facilitated groups and intense in-home family/individual therapy. Jodi has received advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and Mindfulness CBT. She currently provides individual and family counseling for 3-35 years old. Jodi believes in meeting the person where they are at utilizing researched supported interventions personalized for your specific needs. She strives to create a comfortable supportive atmosphere to help you grow. She involves art in sessions to assist with this comfort. During her free time Jodi enjoys family time, hiking, and biking.
