About

I works with parents to assure their children with special needs obtain the most appropriate education to address their unique needs. I have worked with attorneys, court systems, and public education agencies across the country to provide proper assessment and program development for students with a variety of needs. Sometimes, this means an Individual Education Plan needs to be developed. Other times, parents just need the assistance of a strong advocate to workout a meaningful solution when school officials and parents disagree. Still sometimes the solution is best handled in family, play, or individual therapy.

When raising children becomes strenuous due to special needs, I offers a variety of services, including special education document review, child advocacy services, and individual, couple, family, and child therapies. I understand the issues involved with special need students education, and their families. I help mitigate these issues.

Raising children, and children with special needs in particular, requires skills that do not come automatically to most of us. Reaching out to a specialist who is able to advocate for your child, and assist your entire family adjust to changing concerns is the first step. That’s why I’m here.
