JoAnn is committed to providing the highest quality individualized therapy to help improve her client's quality of life by addressing areas of need including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship issues, academic and career planning, life changes, and life coaching. JoAnn earned her undergraduate degree from Elmira College in elementary education and psychology and earned her M.Ed and Ed.S in School Psychology from Georgia State University. JoAnn has spent over 30 years working in diverse settings including elementary, middle, and high schools, community and private college, juvenile justice facilities, and adult prison. JoAnn’s commitment to supporting and empowering others inspired her to open charter schools in New York City and NM to serve underserved students and their families. Influenced by her years of service work, JoAnn obtained her counseling license and is now providing the same high quality support and empowerment to her clients through her counseling practice.
