I believe in helping people discover their hidden resources to cope more effectively with the difficulties of life, including bereavement, complicated grief, mood disturbance, depression, anger, anxiety, behavior problems of youth, and the effects of addiction on family. I enjoy working with adolescents, children, adults, and families. Expressive approaches include therapeutic music, sand tray therapy, forest therapy, solution focused narrative therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. My specialties include complicated grief, trauma, EMDR, treatment of depression, anxiety, anger, substance use, & effects of addiction on family. I also offer therapeutic music as one modality for people of any age who prefer an expressive approach. "The Record Healing Project" allows clients to write & record their own song of healing. I work collaboratively and tailor the session to your needs/resources for the healing of mind, body and spirit. I accept most insurance, including Passport, Medicare, Anthem, Beacon, Humana, Optum, United Health Care, Cigna, Aetna among others. For those who demonstrate financial need, we have the Samaritan scholarship fund.
