About

Throughout life, you may have faced injustices causing you to question your worth. I strive for my clients to be fully seen and held in compassion as we explore your past and how it has shaped you, while discovering ways to reclaim your power in the face of interpersonal and systemic harm. I have specialized training and experience in working with substance use (particularly in harm-reduction), PTSD and trauma, racial/ethnic identity, anger management, self-compassion, men and masculinity, veterans, and the LGBTQ+ community.

My therapeutic approach is relational and liberation-oriented. This means creating a safe and warm therapeutic relationship that can be used to explore how to reclaim your power as you navigate a world that may have made you feel powerless at times. I am also certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a specialized PTSD treatment.

I believe that each person has the ability to harness the strength within them to make positive changes and live a more fulfilled life—sometimes we just need some help along the way to remind us of the strength we have and how to access it. Please feel free to reach out for a 15 minute consultation.
