Hello! My name is Jessie Read (he/him) and I am a queer trans man. I run a therapy and training practice called Serotiny Counseling. We support individuals and parents. For more information please visit our website or our profile on Inclusive Therapists: www.inclusivetherapists.com. I am not accepting new clients at this time, but the other providers in my practice are! You can find their information on my website. Psychology Today is usually the first website to come up when you are looking for a therapist. I have a profile here because I want people to be able to find us, but I'd also like to encourage you to look at other search options, like Inclusive Therapists, Neurodivergent Therapists Directory, and National Queer and Trans Therapists of Color directory. Unfortunately, Psychology Today centers whiteness, silences BIPOC voices, and stigmatizes gender and neurodiversity. For example, Psychology Today lists "transgender" and "autism" as "issues" alongside things like "depression" and "anxiety." This is not how I view the world nor is it how I practice. Who you are is not an issue but oppression certainly is.
