My name is Jess Reed. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor. I’m also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. I’ve always enjoyed being with people. My original career was as a librarian. I always enjoyed the people part most. When the opportunity to retrain as a counselor presented itself I jumped at it. Some of the people I admire most are counselors and social workers. I enjoy working with adults from a wide variety of backgrounds. I’m experienced working with people with disabilities, people of color, and people from all genders and backgrounds. I provide a warm, validating, relational approach based on mutual respect. I assist clients in finding their own answers and offer reflections and skills to assist the process.
