I graduated from the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at DePaul University and am on staff at SpringSource Psychological Center with immediate availability for new clients. I specialize in treating adolescent and adult individuals struggling with eating disorders, body image issues, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and relationship concerns. My clinical foundation is rooted in psychodynamic theory while integrating a trauma-informed care perspective. Through humor, empathy, and compassion, I foster a therapeutic space to help my clients achieve a higher sense of self. As a Certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapy professional (C-DBT), I focus on evidence-based interventions, including Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). I also operate from a Health At Every Size HAES perspective. My previous experience includes the Chicago Public School system and inpatient, residential treatment, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) for eating disorder treatment. I value collaboration with outside systems, so I invest in connecting my clients with the resources they need to support them in their recovery.
