About

What do you notice happening when life's demands feel too much? Do you begin to feel consumed by a critical voice? Perhaps hopelessness or shame takeover, and you can’t focus on what you need. You feel lost and your coping strategies aren't working. You are exhausted, life isn’t satisfying, and you are ready for something different. With your guidance, we will embark on the process of change and bring meaning to your struggles. I work from a depth-oriented approach which allows for all sides of you to have a voice, to be understood, and to have the space to grow.

Together we will explore your interpersonal relationships, examine how you avoid distress, and discover how life can become more fulfilling. This creates space for a nuanced understanding of yourself so that your past choices, and your current decisions, no longer feel overwhelming.

I work with individuals 14 and older with a variety of concerns including family of origin issues, eating disorders, trauma, substance use, relationship concerns, anxiety, and depression. I have post-graduate training in psychodynamic psychotherapy which can improve one's sense of self, provide lasting change, and create new ways of being in the world.
