I work to meet the unique needs of the Uintah Basin by offering flexible scheduling including evenings and internet video services. I specialize in overcoming difficult personal and relationship problems, including problems related to trauma, sexuality, and addiction. As a researcher on parenting and adolescent development, I also study how parents can most effectively influence their adolescents to become their best selves. I am also experienced in managing adolescent self-harm behaviors and suicidal thoughts. I have extensive education and experience in working with individuals, couples, and families as Certified Family Life Educator. Currently, I am a Ph.D. Candidate at Utah State University where I study effective parenting of adolescents and advanced therapy techniques. I also provide supervision for new therapists. Sometimes more time than a 50-minute session is needed to get to the heart of an issue, so I offer extended 80-sessions. Also, I often meet via video conference to accommodate residents living throughout our community, oilfield professionals on location, and even parents if finding childcare is challenging.
