Many relationship challenges develop in the context of other relationships that simply perpetuate ineffective patterns. Basic foundations such as communication, intimacy, and trust become buried under layers of complications that haven't been dealt with. Jerri works collaboratively with clients to help determine their own understanding of themselves and their relationships with others. She treats individuals, couples, and adolescents 16+. Jerri is one of few AASECT Certified Sex Therapists in the state of Nevada. She has new and progressive approaches to sex, intimacy and relationship challenges. Jerri is also an AAMFT Approved Supervisor dedicated to the integrity of her field. Guiding and mentoring other therapists and supervisors in training has helped to sharpen her therapeutic techniques Much of the first few sessions will be spent getting to know the client(s), gathering history and background information, listening to your concerns, and assessing the problem and the context in which the problem is embedded.
