I provide therapy to adults 18yrs+. My practice is trauma-informed, and I have particular experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals. I’m a generalist, and therefore can help those who are dealing with a variety of concerns, such as constant worry, difficulty in relationships, struggles with instances of violence or discrimination, self-critical thinking, emptiness, panic attacks, low mood, disconnection, identity development, life transitions, etc. While there are many methods of healing, therapy can be an important piece of your wellbeing, and I can help guide you towards a more self-aware, satisfying, and meaningful life. Our key process in therapy will be to consider why persistent symptoms and patterns are showing up. We’ll focus especially on your relationships, as well as deeper emotions and thoughts that you might not yet recognize in yourself. With some of this understanding, we can start to identify how to support you, what to explore, and opportunities for change. Lasting change in therapy occurs within the context of a respectful and caring relationship, where you feel you can share all parts of yourself. Therefore, I will work hard to establish this relationship, through clear communication, strong boundaries, and an accepting and curious stance. I hope you will reach out to schedule a brief phone consultation!
