As a person-centered, relationship-based therapist I believe that we are all on a journey towards being our best selves. However, there are times on that journey when we need a little support. Therapy is a time for self-exploration, reflection and care. My approach is strengths-based and solution-focused, utilizing the philosophies and tools of the major psychological approaches. I work with young adults and adults going through life transitions such as emerging adulthood, marriage, parenthood, career, lifestyle, and other major life changes. I also work with those struggling with acculturation, body-image and self-esteem issues, disordered eating, relationship and family conflict, trauma, grief, stress, anxiety and depression. I believe that wellness is found through a balance of the many parts of our lives. My approach is holistic and based on my client's needs, I may utilize my experience as a personal trainer, run coach and certified Intuitive Eating counselor to advocate and assist my client in setting goals for optimal wellness in mind, body and spirit.
