I help patients live freer, more fulfilling lives and believe in the work I do to get patients there. I have a Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master's in Social Work from New York University and a Certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the Contemporary Freudian Society. Prior to moving back home to Miami, I practiced in New York City for several years. I have experience working with a range of people and issues including: depression and anxiety, relationship issues, high school, college & post-graduate challenges, trauma, loss and fertility/pregnancy/postpartum issues. I specialize in working with teens and young adults but also work with older adults as well. I am an active listener who utilizes my curiosity, warmth, compassion and humor to create a safe and trusting environment for us to work in. I aim to alleviate current symptoms, but also believe in examining the past to see how it may be affecting the present.
