Building a comfortable environment and encouraging emotional safety allows clients to work toward achieving their goals. I assist individuals struggling with Substance Use and clinical concerns, including grief, mood disorders, postpartum, and adjustment disorders. Utilizing multiple modalities of evidenced-based practices such as Adolescent and Adult Community Reinforcement Approach (A-CRA) (for substance use), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy have been effective with treatment outcomes. I have experience working with adolescent, young adult, and adult populations. Licensed in New York and Georgia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my clinical training from Lehman College in the Bronx, NY, earning both my Bachelors and Master's Degree in Social Work. My clinical experience ranges from substance use treatment programs, both adolescent and adult, to working with veterans. Expressing empathy and creating a safe environment for understanding, listening, processing, and goal setting are essential to the therapeutic process. I am here for you, as a support system, an encourager, and also someone who will hold you accountable and help strengthen you to achieve your very best.
