About

In my 15+ years of clinical practice I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with a variety of mental health challenges. I have given special focus to adolescents and young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, self-harm, self-esteem, and self-identity issues. I am always learning in order to increase my specialized focus on concerns related to anxiety, adoption and emerging adulthood. I enjoy working with the 10-25 year old age group but throughout my years of private practice I have worked with children as young as 5 and adults as young as 65. I hope to help clients find satisfaction in life.

I utilize a combination of Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Dialectical Behavioral therapy with most of my clients. I like to incorporate art and play therapy techniques when appropriate.

In my free time, I enjoy horseback riding and showing and breeding my Australian Shepherds. I love to be outdoors working on my flower gardens or savoring a good book. You may often find me getting together with friends for board games and card games. In bad weather I may be watching a rom-com or crime thriller. I am also a huge professional sports fan!
