About

I believe that the therapist/client relationship is central to making progress. You have to find "the right fit" in order to feel safe. My goal is to help people increase self-awareness; understanding the positive and harmful ways that they relate to others. The potential benefits of therapy include improved mood, decreased anxiety, increased capacity to experience joy in life, improved self-esteem and better relationships. Many people struggle for a long time before deciding it's time to get help. It takes courage to try to change. If you are willing to work in therapy, change is attainable.

I work with men, women, young adults and adolescents with a broad range of issues. Some specific areas of interest include: working with people who have trouble establishing and maintaining satisfying romantic relationships, helping new mothers struggling with adjustment to motherhood and postpartum mood problems, and working with eating disorders.

My office is located in Tenleytown about a 2 minute walk from the Tenleytown/AU metro on the red line. There is also ample street parking around the office.
