There are many reasons to seek therapy. I have found my approach works well with those that have experienced various forms of trauma or chronic stress, or who are struggling with mood disorders or unhealthy relationships. I work with pre-teens through adults and I offer a safe environment for the LGBTQ community. I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and have specialized training in Somatic Experiencing and Play Therapy. I tailor my approach to the needs of each client, but I most frequently use mindfulness based cognitive behavioral therapy and somatic approaches to help my clients regulate their nervous systems. Change is hard and I feel privileged to walk beside my clients as they make the difficult but worthwhile journey towards lasting change. My job is to help my clients feel heard and accepted for who they are, and to empower them to use their strengths to accomplish their goals.
