I enjoy working with people who are looking to make a change in their life, and unsure where to start. Whether they are someone who has tried therapy previously, or someone new to the process. I can assist in setting SMART goals and working through the stages of change to accomplish these goals. Most recently, I have enjoyed the challenge of working with therapists who are needing support in addressing their unique needs throughout the therapy process. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing (MI) in a strengths-based approach within the Good Lives Model (GLM) framework. I have experience with family, group and individual therapy. I enjoy the challenge of working with diverse clients. When not working, I enjoy traveling, hiking, paddleboarding, mountain biking and camping. I like physical challenges as well, and am a CrossFit L1 Trainer, who advocates for exercise and nutrition in maintaining good mental health. I also love animals and my dog, Boomer, regularly attended sessions in-person and sometimes likes to join telehealth sessions.
