I have limited availability for a few new clients. Sometimes we may feel stuck. Sometimes life can become overwhelming. Sometimes we have deep emotional wounds that have long limited our ability to experience peace, joy, fulfillment, connection, and love. Sometimes we just need someone to listen, be supportive, and offer another perspective. According to Kristin Neff, "The only way to eventually free ourselves from debilitating pain is to be with it as it is. The only way out is through." I hope to offer you this space to alleviate suffering and increase self-compassion, in order to help you more effectively manage life's stressors. I offer talk therapy for adults. I offer a gentle approach while utilizing several techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, insight-oriented therapies, and mindfulness based strategies. I offer a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space. I believe healing occurs through a caring and collaborative relationship. I work with individuals who are experiencing the effects of chronic trauma, abuse, neglect, grief, loss, depression, anxiety, and/or challenging life transitions. I also support teens and young women who are navigating life demands, including college, career transitions, emerging adulthood, relationships, personal identity, and self-esteem concerns.
