I specialize in working with individuals, children, adolescents and couples around relationship issues, life transitions and traumatic events. I view my role as providing a safe place to explore life events, examine thought patterns and process emotions. I combine empirical based strategies with body-oriented therapeutic approaches, resulting in growth, health and freedom. I am trained in evidence based therapies (CBT and TF-CBT) and have seen these models help many people. I am also a firm believer that implicit memories of traumatic events (big and small) remain in our brains and bodies long after the actual events, leaving people with long-term symptoms that are best relieved with treatment that focuses on the whole person. I provide in-person and virtual sessions to clients in New Mexico and virtual sessions to clients in Washington. I am also a Crime Victim Compensation (CVC) Provider in Washington State. Note: I am only a Medicare and Medicaid provider in New Mexico. Please send me a message to set up a free 15-minute online consultation to see if we’d be a good fit!
