Society often tells us that we should have the answers for everything and showing any sign of struggle is a sign of weakness. I believe showing that you are struggling is a strength and that is it unrealistic to believe we can do it all on our own. Humans are built for connection, not solitude. Life can be full of beautiful and fun moments, and sometimes life can cause anxiety or stress as well that we may not know how to best handle. I provide a space for you to be who you are without judgment. I use a variety of techniques proven to help such as: TF-CBT, DBT, and ACT. I have experience in substance use, trauma in many forms, anxiety and depression. I specialize in adolescent and young adult populations. I truly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults as they discover who they are and what they want in their life. You can expect a kind, empathetic and direct approach from me. I also believe finding the right therapist is a lot about finding the right match, if I’m not it, I’ll help you find who is!
