Do you ever feel like your emotions are in control, or too overwhelming to face alone? Or that others will judge you for opening up about emotional or personal struggles? I have experience working with youth, adults, and families on a variety of different issues including suicidality, self harm, anxiety, depression, difficulty regulating emotions, and trauma. I utilize a person-centered style of therapy, based on each individuals' needs and have been trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as well as EMDR Therapy. I strive to provide a safe environment to explore personal issues while also teaching skills to help manage overwhelming emotions and seek solutions. I enjoy incorporating mindfulness and other techniques into therapy to help implement these strategies, ultimately helping people learn the skills to become in control of their feelings and behaviors. I hope to have an opportunity to talk with you about the magic of EMDR therapy or build a strong foundation of coping strategies or address any particularly challenging circumstances you could be facing. Being a human is hard- but I am here to help! Seeking counseling can be a tough but rewarding decision, I hope today you choose you and take the next step!
