About

I have had the privilege of working within the Marriage and Family Therapy field for the past 17 years. I primarily work with couples and adults, but have extensive background in working children, teens, and families. I have experience in helping families and individuals with a variety of concerns, including relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, ADHD, parenting skills, discipline techniques, attachment, school-related concerns, anger management and other disruptive behavioral issues. I have a passion for working with couples at all stages of their relationship, helping them to connect, support, forgive, trust and renew. I work to provide couples with relationship tools so they can understand their relationship differently, increase their connectedness, problem solve tough issues and strengthen their communication skills. In addition, I have extensive experience working with adolescence around self esteem, depression, anxiety, self harm and suicidal ideation.

I believe that every person possesses the strength and skill to lead a successful journey through life. I view counseling as an avenue to help a person re-connect and acquaint themselves with their strengths and to help empower them to work through the concerns they come to counseling with.
