I am a licensed clinical social worker, with expertise in treating adolescents and adults struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use, and attachment disorders. I have a collaborative practice with clients. I believe that clients are the experts of their own lives, and my job is to support them in achieving their self-determined goals and objectives. Working with clients I focus on building communication and distress tolerance skills. My practice builds on clients' inherent strengths, traditions, and customs to provide a culturally responsive environment for healing. As an agency administrator for the past 10 years, I can offer supportive consultation and reflection to those practicing in the field. I understand that we as humans are often responding to our environments. My practice focuses on building perspective about one's lived experience and developing the skills to adapt and thrive.
