I am available to be of service to virtually anyone that is struggling to enjoy their lives, who feel that there are barriers standing in the way of reaching their goals and fulfilling their potential. Anxiety is a significant challenge and interferes with day-to-day life in many ways. These challenges may come from any number of situations—family, jobs, trauma (physical, sexual, or situational), poor self-image, feelings of inadequacy, fear of any number of daily situations, and the horrible feeling of powerlessness. I have considerable experience working with individuals with substance abuse challenges. I have over 15 years of experience helping with just such issues. A number of interventions are employed—Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Unconditional Positive Regard, Brief/Solution Focused Therapy; meditation/mindfulness training, creative visualization, reframing, and trauma work—among others. Interventions are personal and developed with your involvement. My focus is to build on the individual’s existing strengths with the goal of learning the skills to reduce anxiety and help find happiness and fulfillment. Please contact me for a brief, no-charge, consultation to see if you and I are a good fit.
