I work with those who struggle with anger. Often times the anger is brought on by unmet expectations and merely a symptom of deeper issues under the surface. It's my job to metaphorically stand in a place you can not see, and point you in the right direction as to the cause of what is contributing to the anger. By doing so, you can receive insight that will enrich your life and change it for the better. I also work with individuals who struggle with relationship issues due to anger, domestic violence, or sexual addiction. When desires go unfulfilled partners become resentful or angry and seek sexual gratification elsewhere. I believe through self-exploration and personal insight, the individual/couple can gain understanding in overcoming their difficulties. As a college professor, I believe education both formal and personal are important for healthy development. Therefore, I challenge my client's current perspective in order to grow a new understanding of contributing problems.
