Are you struggling to keep your thoughts from spiraling? Does your anxiety control you, not the other way around? You can learn better ways of thinking! I seek to work collaboratively with clients to help them learn new and healthier ways of relating to those around them and gain a greater ability to treat themselves and others with compassion. It takes courage to step into the therapy room; I work to provide a disarming space for clients. My curiosity guides me as I get to know people for who they are and help clients learn to think, feel, and act in new productive ways in order for them to become the people they hope to be. View 8 Photos My areas of special clinical interest include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem, couples therapy, conflict management, LGBTQ+ issues, and relationship issues. My practice is evidence-based and influenced by various theoretical orientations, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, internal family systems, and mindful self-compassion. I am a therapist at The Briggs Institute, Inc., a private practice unlike most others. Connected to Lipscomb University's Master's of Marriage and Family Therapy program (the only COAMFTE accredited program in Nashville), we provide high quality mental health care. I'm accepting new clients at this time and would love to help you however I can!
