About

As a previous Employee Assistance Counselor and having a masters degree in social work for over 20 years, I am well versed in supporting adult clients who are struggling with work life balance, life transitions, goal setting, depression, or anxiety. I am known as a compassionate listener dedicated towards helping clients grow to be the best version of themselves. My work in the school systems has given me extensive experience in problem solving and collaboration, both of those traits important in the therapeutic partnership.

When working with clients, I help with a combination of thoughtful listening, reflective questions, support, problem solving, and setting goals. I promise to meet you where you are at. I also promise to do my best so that you don't stay in that same spot.

Reaching out to a therapist can sometimes be viewed as a huge, intimidating, or uncomfortable step. I encourage you to think of reaching out and the initial appointment as an initial step. Each session we will review the steps and goals that we agreed upon and be intentional on next steps. You don't need to do everything at once. Just commit to one step.
