I have 35 years of experience helping people find a way to live a richer and more satisfying life. Therapy is about empowering individuals and coming face-to-face with adversities. Clients are helped to explore past experiences that impact current emotions and behaviors. In order to change you need to resolve internal conflicts that lead to emotional distress, unwanted behaviors and physical symptoms. I help to create a safe place to begin to talk about the meaning of your feelings and thoughts. I create a space where you can explore whatever is on your mind and we think together about your feelings, thoughts, and dreams. I have had extensive education, training and experiences. My life has been dedicated to learning theory and becoming the best therapist I can be. I have spent a lot of my life learning how to work with a variety of issues people struggle with such as trauma, depression, anxiety, addictions, abuse, loss and grief, gender issues..... I work with adults, couples, and families. I am available for clinical consultation with other therapists and people with small family businesses. A free phone consultation is offered for anyone interested in my services, and I welcome referrals.
