I have always been inquisitive by nature, and in particular, fascinated by the study of human behavior. Why do we do the things we do? What influences our thoughts and behaviors on both individualistic and collective levels? For me, being a therapist is like putting together the pieces of a puzzle, understanding how the pieces fit together and why. As a psychotherapist, I am of the belief that a strong therapeutic alliance, the human connection between therapist and client, and the sanctity of the space it creates, are integral to facilitating healing and growth throughout the therapeutic process. I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life. Trauma and couples therapy are my specialty areas. I use evidence-based practices such as CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, EFT in treatment. Some of my specialty areas are working with treating and training other fellow psychotherapists, bi-racial couples, and individuals working in Big-Tech companies. I also have special training with working with mothers. I am a certified maternal mental health therapist through PSI.
