Jason is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate in North Carolina (LCSWA) and Maryland (LMSW). Jason believes deeply in the human capacity to heal, grow, and be happy. As a therapist, he offers a non-judgmental and compassionate space where clients can tap into that capacity. He combines depth and practicality in his work with clients, creating a space where clients can expect to be thoroughly cared for and understood as well as challenged and given the tools to prosper. He draws upon Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic therapy, exposure therapy, mindfulness-based therapy and more. Jason has also trained in couples and sex therapy. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, he uses a trauma-informed approach that healing occurs in the mind and the body. A certified mindfulness meditation teacher, Jason has taught mindfulness and meditation in spaces ranging from prisons, large corporations, activist organizations, women’s shelters, middle schools, and various Buddhist communities.
