Jason Stofel has been working in the field of social work in various settings since 1994. He began as a direct care staff serving youth involved in the juvenile court system in Delaware, Ohio as well as working with children and teens placed in out of home care at The United Methodist Children's Home. It was in these two settings that he learned the importance of building relationships, providing consistency and behavioral management. He then entered into doing Community Based counseling at Directions for Youth and Families, serving at risk youth and their loved ones. While working here, Jason completed the master's program at The Ohio State University in 2001. He moved on to The Buckeye Ranch where he worked for two years in foster care then later, promoted to supervisor of a home-based team providing in home counseling and case management to children and adolescents. He was a supervisor at The Buckeye Ranch for 13 years and treasure the relationships with the people and the families we helped. He has been an adjunct faculty at The Ohio State University since 2012 in the Social Work program.
