About

Choosing the right therapist can be a difficult decision; especially when they're working so closely with you or your child. You want someone who listens, understands and hears your concerns but is also supportive and nurturing. Let me begin by stating that I provide a safe environment where I incorporate empathy, encouragement, and laughter as part of the therapy process. But most importantly I believe in building a relationship with every person is the key to the healing process.

Since 2010 I've enjoyed working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders as well as parent concerns with their child's self-esteem, behavior, and the parent/child relationships. My approach is using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and play therapy.

I understand that kids, teens, and adults need someone they can trust to discuss their concerns and problem-solve the ever-changing issues they face. I strive to work closely with every client/family to help them identify their own personal strengths in order to succeed.
