About

Life can present challenges that can become overwhelming and cause emotional unrest. As a result, our relationships, functioning level, and emotional well being can be significantly affected. In part, this is what it means to be human, engaged in life that is often complex and always changing. As a therapist for over 25 years, I have had the privilege of helping clients overcome such challenges, gain insight and self awareness, become unstuck and change thought patterns and behaviors that no longer serve them.

In my practice, I provide a safe, nonjudgemental and supportive environment. I acknowledge the importance of a trusting therapeutic relationship and view this as the launchpad for the healing process. I use a blend of techniques including psychodynamic therapy, family systems, CBT, and mindfulness based stress reduction.

In addition to Massachusetts, I have practiced in NYC and NM. I've worked with people of varying backgrounds, many of whom lived through loss and trauma. Some of my greatest teachers have been the very clients I have sat with. Even when faced with adversity, people can heal, move forward, implement positive coping strategies and lead fulfilling lives.
