Does it seem like life is getting in your way? We can work together to improve the quality of your life. We will work together on your difficulties, identifying underlying, many times hidden, challenges such as loss, and/or trauma. We will set and work toward goals you set for yourself. Life is a journey and I look forward to meeting you and traveling with you on your journey to the life you want to live. I have experience working empathetically with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, social injustice and trauma. The goal in psychotherapy is to alleviate symptoms so the client can lead a healthier life both emotionally and physically. I focus on helping people with their chosen issues. I do not focus on labels from the past. I am passionate about working with individuals who have experienced social injustice and discrimination. Using self-reflection and self-examination as a part of the therapy can be a window into the problematic relationship patterns in the client’s life and can help to build the relationship between client and therapist. Due to life's busy schedules, I have a flexible schedule including evening and weekend meeting times. My office is on the CATA Bus Line.
