I am a Licensed Therapist with over 30 years of experience in helping individuals break free from the symptoms of PTSD; trauma; disaster relief trauma; sexual assault; physical, emotional, &/or sexual abuse; domestic violence; depression; anxiety; and substance abuse. We work together in a uniquely effective way assisting you to become free from these mental health symptoms and truly live a life worth living! I have specific training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am a Certified EMDR Trauma Therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant and provide Consultation to EMDR therapists. I focus on an integrative and holistic approach to therapy - a balance of positive psychology and EMDR focusing on Healing and Wellness. EMDR stands for-Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy- an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma and psychological distress. I provide treatment for PTSD, trauma and and all types of psychological distress in a safe, confidential, and compassionate setting either in Office or remotely.
