About

I'm not sure I believe in an Ideal client; I think all clients are Ideal, no matter their life circumstances. Life is like a rollercoaster, and when you're going down, you may need someone to be there and help talk you through it. However, If I had to choose, it would be a client having difficulty with self-esteem, self-worth, and depressive symptoms and needing additional assistance building coping skills but expressing readiness to change. Helping includes discussing the goals client have for themselves and addressing maladaptive thoughts that may have become core beliefs. Discuss with the client coping mechanisms to increase self-esteem, including positive affirmations and giving assignments to complete at home to help improve self-worth.

Desiring a therapist that is a good fit can be challenging; if you are struggling to cope, do not struggle alone; I am here to listen and help you increase your understanding and find ways to change things. Together we can achieve those goals you have for yourself.
