I am a licensed clinical social worker with 25 years of experience. My clients are mainly adults and young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, addictions, grief/loss, sexuality, relationships and stress. I also specialize in athlete mental health and sport performance issues. My office is located in Uptown New Orleans and easily accessible to Tulane and Loyola students. My approach is eclectic psychodynamic and explores conscious and unconscious conflicts that can stifle happiness. I maintain a holistic understanding of my clients and utilize mind-body interventions such as movement/exercise, meditation and mindfulness to facilitate healing. I have specialized training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and hold an Associate Faculty position at the New Orleans-Birmingham Psychoanalytic Center. I am a member of the Association of Applied Sports Psychology, a Mental Health Provider for the NBPA, and listed in the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee Mental Health Registry.
